This little light can be attached to your ear quite easily. there is an ear shaped hook which fits the shape of your ear. It gives of a red light which is turned on by a button at the back end. There is a short bendy stem where the light is connected, this can mean you can bend the light in all directions.It requires batteries which are included. I have had this gadget for over 5 years and haven't yet had to change the batteries once! A bad thing about this gadget is it doesnt have a very long range, it can be very faintly seen after about one metre in length.The light is an LED (a light emmiting diod) And it takes 2x (1.5v ) LR44
