The Green Jem dynalight wind up torch

The wind up torch is a clever energy saving gadget.

You don’t need batteries and the light it gives off is nearly always bright. In the dark this torch ensures you can see where you are going. Unfortunately you do have to wind it for a while before it is bright enough. A neat feature is the handle which folds away into the back of the torch. The light is produced by three LED lights which are secured in a tight see through plastic case.

I think this torch is very useful on your bedside table; there it can be used for reading, going to the toilet or just making shadow puppets! If there is a power cut this is a great source of light.

Ratings

The looks on the torch I would give a three out of five. This is because it has some cool black swerves on the sides to help you grip, but the colour for some might be a bit boring as it is silver.

The sustainability (how long it lasts) is amazing! I would give it a five out of five. I have had the torch for nearly five years and it is still as bright as it was when I first bought it.

Value for money, I would give a four out of five. At Amazon.co.uk this torch is £7.25 pounds including post and packaging. This may sound like a lot but this torch can last for years without the bulbs being blown, mine have never blown in all the years I have had it. It is strong as I have dropped it many times and no damage has been done,
